Hi!!I am new to the Grad cafe but I am seeking advice from some people who have knowledge of graduate program admissions. I'm a sophomore in college right now and I feel as if my academic career is meaningless. I was recently sanctioned with an F on my transcript and a put on discplinary probation for making a bad choice (no indication of IA on my transcript). My friends and I sat next to one another during an Honors Orgo exam were caught cheating by looking at one anothers paper. I understand that i have done wrong and will do anything in my power to make things right from this point on. However, I do not know what is to come of my academic future. I am pursuing a biology degree and hoping to become a highschool teacher. Yet, I feel that I will never find a job with just a bachelors degree and feel that I will not get a job without goingto grad school which is seems impossible with the discplinary mark on my profile and the F. So I'm asking what is it that I would have to do aside from keeping my grades up to be able to get a graduate degree? My GPA was a 4.0 now 3.6 after this semester due to the F. I tutor and have over 500 of volunteering, also in 3 other extra curriculars. I dont want this bad choice to define who I am so please give me information on how to make this right.
