I got my rejection as well (E1). What do they tell you in a debriefing? Is that how we find out what went on in the internal review?

Thanks for the information, @biofilmsarego!, @GopherBoy, and @1000thoughts! That's a bummer there isn't a timeline. Who knows, maybe they aren't picking alternates to save money. They truly need to reevaluate the way they notify applicants. Congratulations to you all! I am a failure

Has anyone noticed that the GRO applicants were notified of their award in December, but still have not received their funding? I wonder if that will happen to STAR awardees?

I haven't heard anything. What would be the next status after "Tracking Number Assigned"? My impression was that's as far as it'll go and that was going to be our only interaction with grants.gov although I could be wrong. As far as the weather, DC has a very established work from home program because of the traffic, so I would bet they work from home on bad weather days. It still might delay their notifications though, especially if they plan on calling. I just want to know already!

Here's what I heard from Brandon Jones this morning: "The timeline will be adjusted forward a few weeks. We are in the final stages of review and then on to the decision process. We will be updating the special announcement box prior to the holiday. Thanks for your patience. Brandon"
