Eager for grad

I am applying for ms in robotics but I messed up last semester and missed deadline for machine learning project and consequently received a D grade. Should I address this in my SOP? how? I have no idea what to do about it now!(freaking out) Any ideas on how to proceed? Also, can I pm someone to provide feedback for my SOP?
