  1. The estimated expenses given are way off the mark according to me. With respect to an average Indian the total amount for the entire period of the program can be approximately broken down like this: Tuition Fees: The approx tuition fees is 10k$ per quarter, so assuming one completes in 5 quarters (max scenario) the total tuition fees is 50k$ Living Expenses: Considering the fact that most Indians live in EV, 650$ (Rent) +350$ (Everything else) = 1000$ per month, so total living expenses over say 15 months will be 15k$ Total Amount = 50k$ + 15k$ = 65k$ Note: This is a very approximate figure can can vary depending on the no.of quarters taken to complete the program. Correct me if I have missed out of anything else.
  2. I too got into Stanford MS&E!
  3. Does Cornell M.Eng ORIE give out admits all on 1 day altogether (I read somewhere in this forum about that day being 6th March last year) or on separate days ? Because someone in this forum got an admit on 24th February, while someone I know got an admit on 2nd March that too with a 5000$ fellowship ! And I have still not heard of any rejections from Cornell, this is making me even more confused and tensed. Can anyone clear it out for me ?
  4. R u talking about the MS program or Phd ?
  5. Hey guys, after going through this thread I realized that very few of you are planning for MS. I have applied for Operations Research/IE in most of the universities and for Mathematical Finance in NYU and Rutgers. I recently received an admit from UMich IOE and am pretty excited about it ! Now I am eagerly waiting for Stanford MS&E's MS results and that of Cornell's and GaTech's ! All the best for your results people !
