Tynnifer, I'm so glad to hear I'm not alone here. I have tuned down admission to Northern Illinois and UMass Dartmouth and have narrowed it down to SAIC and IU Bloomington. I am in the same boat where I have a significant amount of funding from SAIC but am waiting to hear about funding from IU, which a full ride is possible but not probable. Can you get any kind of extension with Guelph? Perhaps let them know you have another admission offer that may provide Full funding. I think the worst they can say is that it's a hard deadline and ask that you meet it.

Somehow the decision making portion is even more stressful for me than the application/acceptance portion. Is anyone else feeling this stress. I am operating on borrowed time that unfortunately runs out today.

I know for a fact that not everyone who is called gets merit scholarships. The fiber and sculpture departments called all their acceptances to inform them. They told me that they wanted to make sure their candidates received the information as soon as possible. They send an official letter out as well.

Lyndsi, SAIC is my number one pick now. I just an unsure if I can afford it. I am waiting to hear about FAFSA.

Received a call yesterday from SAIC and was accepted into the Fiber and Material Studies department!!

I interviewed in person and haven't heard anything. On the interview day they said they would be meeting Saturday March 5th to make decisions. They said if you're accepted you can expect to hear back sometime this week(7th-11th).

Congrats! Did you apply for financial aid through FAFSA yet? If not, I would get that in ASAP.

Did anyone also interview with MassArts for the 3D program? Have you heard back?

Received official rejection letter from Alfred for the Sculpture department via snail mail today.

I live in Champaign and have a lot of friends, including my partner in the program. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

You can minimize the Skype window, make it small and put it right up by your camera. It allows you look look at them as you are talking and feels more natural.

I was wondering if anyone else applied to Tyler for Fiber. I haven't heard anything from them, presuming rejection now.

The email that I received was more like an invitation to visit campus. I am not sure if it's really an interview invitation.

Alfred is amazing for ceramics. I applied there for Sculpture and have not heard anything yet.

I have only seen people on the cafe notified for the Sculpture department and maybe painting.
