@Denise Lee would you mind sharing how you went about negotiating your scholarship? I need to appeal but don't know where to begin/who to talk to/how to go about it at all!

How long after the email did you all get your letters? I heard back on March 1st (ten days ago) but still haven't received my formal letter with scholarship information. Getting antsy because UChicago wants a deposit a week from today (already an extension) but I'd easily pick BC if they come through financially...

@Joy418 did you end up requesting an extension and did they grant it? If so, how long was your extension?

hoping to revitalize this thread for any added insights -- still waiting to hear from BC, but if I'm accepted with any scholarship money I'm not sure how I'm going to choose!

Hi all! I was accepted to UChicago last week and am nervous I won't hear back from Boston College (submitting today, waiting on one rec) before the deposit deadline on March 4th. I want to give both programs equal consideration (esp. re: $$$), any advice on how to best proceed?
