Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to check in and see who of you have been admitted to the CSULA MSW Program. I submitted my application to CSULA on January 13, 2016, got my provisional acceptance letter in the mail on March 7 and submitted all the documents required on March 16. All i'm waiting for now is for my GPA to be verified, which they said would take a while. Is anyone in the same situation as me where they are still waiting on this?
Also wanted to see if anyone else had yet had their interview setup for CalSWEC. Looking forward to meeting all of you soon!

Got my acceptance from CSULA, last Monday via regular mail. Before that though I had gotten no e-mails from them. Looks like all their acceptances are being done via mail and the only thing being done via email (1-2 weeks after your mail acceptance in the program) is your acceptance to the school but not until after you receive your acceptance to the program.

Just got provisional acceptance to CSULA pending verification of my GPA! Still waiting on CSULB & CSUF however.

Does anybody know is CSUF accepts individuals without asking for an interview or is it pretty safe to assume that if you haven't received an email to set-up an interview by now you probably didn't get in?

I see you applied 1/30/16 and already heard back for an interview. I applied on 1/28/16 so guessing it's probably going to be a no for me :/

haha! I have CSULA, CSULB and CSUF set up as VIP in my inbox so whenever i get an email my phone vibrates and rings uncontrollably haha!

That's so nerve wrecking! How do you know they are sending out emails now? I submitted my application on 1/28/16 to CSUF but haven't received anything :/

I wouldn't be to worried! I applied to CSULB, CSULA and CSUF and haven't heard back from any other. Good luck!

Wondering the same thing. All i have received is one email from the school saying my application was being forwarded to the department for review and then one from the department of social work stating my application had been received but have received no other emails.

Ah got it! Well that is good to hear, that can at least calm me down a bit, that they probably just haven't gotten around to applications received the last week since I see you applied only two days before me. Make sure to keep us all updated and good luck!

What was the pending email, mind posting it? And are you sure acceptance emails have gone out to everyone? I submitted mine on the 13th of January but haven't heard back :|
i barely got my email that they received my application on the 11th of February. When did you submit the app and get the application received email?

On the GET website it says my CSULA application is complete but I believe that is referring to the application to get into CSULA, not related to the MSW program. I submitted all my transcripts electronically.
Thanks for the information! I mailed in my transcripts to them on January 4th and they arrived the 5th. They however seem to have somehow been lost so they had me submit new transcripts to them on February 5 but those still have not been processed. I E-mailed them so hopefully ill hear back from them soon, it has been a giant headache trying to get this sorted out. Good luck to you though! Hopefully we hear back from them soon.

If I may ask, when did you submit your transcripts to them and on your GET does your application show as complete? I've been dealing with admissions for a month and a half now trying to get my transcripts processed since they lost my first set of transcripts so I had to submit a new one on Februaury 5th and those still haven't been processed either.

Anybody heard anything back from CSULA or CSUF? Patiently awaiting been been having the biggest troubles with CSULA grad admissions and them receiving my transcripts! Its been over a month and a half now and they still have not processed them.

I believe they posted it earlier in the thread on the previous page! I submitted mine 1/13 and also recently received the email stating its under review so anxiously waiting!

Just got an email from CSULB a few weeks ago stating that my application had been forwarded to the department for review and that decisions typically takes a few weeks.
