Hey guys,
I am in a really bad position right now, I spent the last day crying. So basically, I applied to graduate about a month ago, but apparently the request didn't go through and now it is past the deadline to apply. I have read in certain areas of my school website that I can go and talk to convocation office about submitting after the deadline but on other parts of the school website it says that March 11th is the last day to submit. I am lost and confused, all of my credits will be done by the end of April. Therefore I should be convocating in June. However, what happens if I can't resubmit my application to graduate? UGH. Does anyone know what the rules are regarding this, can I enter a graduate/post grad program before I convocate IF all of my courses are done and I have been approved by my schools to graduate? The next convocation is October. Advice please... I am inconsolable right now...
Im so sorry CalendarGirl. I can only imagine how worried you must feel. I think you should definitely go and speak to someone at the convocation office. Regardless of the posted deadline, I'm willing to bet you are not the only person who has had a hiccup with the application.
Remember to breathe and hang in there. You got this....hugs!!

My advice is view it on a comp not your phone as it didnt load all 4 pages of the offer and what you need to do until i printed it (was 4 pages total), didnt see it viewing on phone as only loads first page. You have to send transcripts to needles hall the full address is on one of the later pages. You need to copy and personalize some text and email it within ten days (commitment to attend summer institute and letter u have to get employer to sign off on or sign yourself if self employed like me to rennison administrator. If you cant get it to load i can send u address and link with next steps if need be.
I just checked on my desktop with no luck.
Would you be okay with messaging me the link? I would be so grateful!

Im part time too so well be classmates
That's exciting!
My only glitch is that I couldn't view my offer. I found all the information, I think, that I need to do/send but I'm wondering if the transcripts need to be addressed to someone specifically. Did your offer give a name or just Graduate Studies Office?

Friday around 11am. From what I've seen Friday was waitlist, the weekend was denials and Monday/Tuesday seemed to be the admits. My fingers are crossed for you. Is Waterloo your first choice?
It was the only place I applied to
Awe, thanks!
Yup! It's the only program I applied to too.
I think I'll call the school tomorrow. It's odd that my status hasn't changed. Now I'm worried that I missed something and my application was never considered. Seriously, who would have thought the period before grad school would be so stressful!

I was waitlisted
Still checked quest a few times to see if they changed their minds but no such luck. My fingers are crossed still but trying to be realistic.
Sorry to hear that
hopefully someone gives up their seat and you get some good news!
Can I ask when your status changed?

I went to Mac for my BSW, have friends on facebook that got into their MSW there and there were offers out I believe 2 weeks ago.
For anyone waiting to hear from Waterloo, I read in the offer that you have 10 days to accept before they offer your spot to someone else. Not sure that will offset the urge to refresh Quest a zillion times but thought i'd share in case anyone wants to give themselves peace of mind as they wait!
This is good to know, thanks!!
Mack and CalendarGirl, any news on Waterloo?
my account still has not changed. Not quite sure how to interpret this I'm still hopeful but very nervous.
Hopefully others have had some good news!!

She said shes enjoying it- workload is pretty heavy with a lot of readings and having to respond with answers to classmates posts. I know you have to maintain a 75 average on course work. She said that there is a ton of experience within the classroom which has been humbling. Only complaint ive heard is that it was hard to get a placement and she had to do a lot of the leg work herself.
Thanks for this!!

I still havent had any account changes on quest for waterloo. I know a few people on here posted about waitlisted. A friend in the program now said quite a few classmates were waitlisted but were soon offered spots not long after so there is reason to be hopeful she said. Ill continue to check quest 20 times a day..
Hopefully we hear something soon.
Any feedback about the program from your friend? Is she enjoying it?

My quest account still hasn't changed. Anyone else still waiting to hear back from Waterloo?
Now I'm concerned I messed up my application somehow.....this wait is killing me.

Hi Everyone,
I have been put on the waitlist to Waterloo. I'm wondering if anyone knows what the chances are of getting an acceptance after being waitlisted?
That's great! I think people usually have 10 days to accept or decline their offers. Hopefully that means you're not waiting long.
Can i ask when your quest account changed? Mine still says 'application'.

Hi everyone.
I know this forum has slowed down but I've been checking in regularly, still ready everyone's questions and responses.
I have a question for anyone attending U of Waterloo. I thought I'd try here before contacting the school.
We are set to be on campus for August and I know we're expected to pay tuition early August to have access to course registration, however, I'm wondering if we'll be expected to pay another term in September for the fall. I'm trying to budget and this is a significant amount to tuck aside if need be.
Thanks in advance!!
