Thanks for the reply! I just wasn't sure if I needed to contact anyone about the hotel accommodations aside from my registration form, but it makes sense that they would just automatically make those reservations.

Aside from the flight/travel arrangements - has anyone heard anything about making hotel reservations for the orientation?

I just checked my e-mail and got the tentative offer for Taiwan too! I'm excited that other people will be in Taipei as well. Congratulations guys - the horrible wait is FINALLY over!

The same thing happened to me! She said my proposal couldn't get funded for Japan but they offered an updated proposal for Taiwan as well. I e-mailed them my updated information yesterday morning and have yet to hear back. Have you heard anything from them after that phone call?

I'm in the same boat as you who have yet to hear back...it's killing me. Apparently my eternal review started January 5th, which only makes me feel even worse. For those who have gotten accepted, what areas of study are you from? I'm thinking maybe they are going through applications based on area of study...but who knows.
