I know it seems like such a hard road but this experience is only going to make you an even better social worker. Navigating these huge emotions of powerlessness and anxiety will enhance your empathetic responses in an incredibly meaningful way.
If it helps I didn't finish my last credits for my first degree until the August before I started the University of Waterloo, it was totally fine

I'm fascinated by the idea of writing to admissions, I would love to hear what everyone else says about it. My first instinct would be that if the waiting list is ranked it may not make a difference however I don't know if anything would preclude them from adjusting the ranking....

And yes, I can completely relate to the feeling of not being "good enough". I'd reckon that the emotional journey of a graduate applicant might make some interesting social work research one day!
