Just declined my offer for the Queen's MPA program! Hope it goes to somebody on here Good luck to all those waiting!

I was told in my offer of admission to Queens that I would receive a minimum of 5k in funding, with additional scholarship opportunities available to me upon acceptance of my offer. I've yet to accept the offer, though (I have until the 17th) but I can let you know if/how much more they offer if I do! I think it's a considerably less expensive program than Carlton, though, since it's 1 year and not 2.

As another alternative, is it possible to accept an early offer, then withdrew and accept another one that comes along? losing maybe deposits 

Yeah I ended up emailing my top choice something along the lines of that! Hopefully they respond haha!

Congrats!  My deadline to accept feels pretty early, and I'm not sure I will hear from the other schools before then.  Have you thought about contacting schools in case they do not respond before the deadline to accept at Queens?

I'm thinking about it! Trying to figure out how to do this strategically ahaha

Queens was the only MPA one I applied to since I can take it as a joint program with their law school. All other grad programs I've applied to are jds or a masters of poli sci at York

I also applied to UofT, LSE (rejected), Carleton. Has anyone heard from Carleton? Some friends who applied 1 and 2 years ago mentioned they got offers in February or early March. 

Before I accept I wanted to hear from more offers but with the early deadline that may be a problem. Have any of you contacted the schools still pending and explained that you have a deadline ?

Accepted today into queens mpa program.

3.2 gpa

3.7 last two 

159 LSAT (I applied for the dual jd program).

Also have very strong softs and LORS

Will likely be accepting! Was one of my top choices! 

Anybody know how many people they let in each year to the program?
