I did my PhD in pure math in a top 20 school in the US as an international students. After my graduation, I went to a different country for post-doc. The job market has been very difficult. I want to change my field to something more employable. Currently, I am looking at the following fields: Applied or financial mathematics, Statistics, Engineering and computer science, Operations research What are some programs that I can apply to currently in these fields? I know I am late in the application stage, but I really hope that I can still have a chance to return to the states. Thank you.
