@CampCool I did just visit the week before I posted. Hi again! I just found out that CU is not offering health insurance for dependents. My 5 year old is going on this adventure with me so that just makes them an impossibility. Now I'm down to Michigan State and UNC. I've decided that I must decide this week so I can focus on finishing up my thesis. Good luck!!

Hey everyone––I've been lurking around this forum for a while, but my stress combined with everyone's warmth encouraged me to sign up. Today I was notified that I'm on the waitlist for the University of Oregon's Media Studies program. I was wondering if there were any users who were accepted but might attend elsewhere? This whole process is so stressful! I spent half an hour today following my cat around the house, trying to get her to cuddle.
I was accepted to Oregon, UNC, CU, Michigan State and Wisconsin so I might turn down the Oregon offer. I really liked the people there but I'm not sure it was the best fit for me. I hope you get an offer!

It sounds like we have very similar dilemmas. I have package offers in media or mass comm at UNC, Michigan State, Univ of Oregon and CU. I too had the best fit experience with the CU faculty but I'm worried about the program's rep. I also prefer mixed methods and I'm stressed about getting stuck in a program that is too quant focused. Did you get any advice?
