Didn't get it. E/VG, VG/VG, G/F.

1st two reviewers said it was borderline (receiving the award vs not). 3rd reviewer left similar feedback to the other two, and then said "one of the LORs wouldn't open, so I've flagged the application". That's definitely frustrating.

Edit: AND, on top of that, the 3rd reviewer said "Accessible letters of support suggest the applicant is a fair candidate for the Graduate Research Fellowship Program."

I pulled this quote from part VI of the solicitation. I also did not do headings :/ I'm hoping that it won't hurt me too much because it seems like a lot of people did not do them and it is a newer requirement. We shall see soon...

And of course Fastlane is down so I can't even check to see if I did that. I know I had separate headings for my application last year, but I vaguely remember my advisor telling me to not do that while he was reviewing my application this year...

Edit: found that email thread about the separate headings. One advisor told me to not do that, and my other advisor told me to add it back in. Thank god I listened to advisor #2.

Usually the maintenance ends closer to 2 or 3 AM EDT if the announcement is being made, but it's certainly possible that they changed the release time (maybe to discourage people from staying up for it, so there's less load on the servers?). They did make it later last year than usual, although only by an hour.

Also, it could be unrelated, but I had trouble logging in a few minutes ago. Not sure if that could be a clue or not.

I don't believe you need to be logged in to see the maintenance notice, but I'm not 100% sure.
