Apologies for the multiple threads. Anyone with some insight into the SIPA MPA program - would you tell me how hard it would be to get a federal consulting/private sector job from SIPA? I have looked at the placement stats but they don't seem to be meaningful enough for me to draw a conclusion.

The 168 is an awesome score! Congrats! My advice on improving verbal (if you decide to take it again) is to use the Magoosh vocabulary app. Just study the vocab as much as possible like when you are standing in line to get lunch or if you are in the bus/train or for a few minutes before bed. Continue doing this everyday and you will be fine!
