Wow that does suck! That school sounds unorganized to me, it's probably a good thing you didn't get in there! I myself have had a few bad experiences through this process as well. The first blow came when I was sent an false acceptance letter by a school. They later sent me a short e-mail saying that it was a mistake and my name has been removed from their list...thanks ! I wrote the president of the school complaining and was then offered a spot...but I declined, their faculty doesn't seem to be very friendly, I'm just completely turned off. My second blow came when I had an interview for another school. It went great (At least I thought!). They told me my SOP was on of the best they received. They went on to tell me how my interest fit theirs "to a T!" So naturally I thought I was as good as gold, especially at the end when they shook my hand and told me I was a "very strong candidate," and I can expect a phone call April 1. Imagine my surprise when April 1st came and went...and I didn't receive one! A couple of days later, however, I received an e-mail stating I was WAITLISTED!!! I'm getting really annoyed with the whole application process .

Wow...March is DEFINITELY not it for me, thought it was, but j/k. I got an accidental acceptance letter. You have no idea how happy I was after I have already been rejected from 2 other schools to finally get an acceptance somewhere. I notified everyone! I mean, for goodness sakes my facebook status was, peace out Ohio, i'm headed to Texas, only to have this school notify me a few days later that I should have never received the acceptance, they are "deeply sorry" and my name will be removed from their list. WOOOOW!!! Talk about having a dream ripped away!! March sucks...still 4 schools to go, we'll see...

Hey! I'm also applying to SLP programs! It is so hardest thing ever not checking the mailbox every hour praying for some kind of notification from a school. I honestly prefer to just be out right rejected over being waitlisted, ANYTHING but to be waitlisted!!! Just put me out of my misery now, I can't stand to wait another month to find out i'm rejected, I'm going crazy!!! Good luck to you, I've yet to get an acceptance also, but the moment I do I'm going to by the whole bar drinks, lol.
