is there anyone still waiting for PhD admission results from ORIE@cornell or MS&E@stanford? anyone knows what is going on? both the above programs have sent out rej/wl/offers, but I still haven't heard a thing...

Hey thanks for your reply MindLeftBody. I did not choose that "consider MS" option... I think i should write to ask about this... do u know how stanford makes admission decisions? do they have a committee to vote? I am curious how comes this situation....

not yet.... I think my chance is pretty small at this point... it's already March.... did u get anything from stanford?

now we see rejs, offers, and wls on the results board.... but i still get nothing from cornell... i guess my rej is on its way

i have heard the rumor long ago, that ieor@ucb only gives 1 or 2 newly recruited phds full financial support...... most phds have to find money themselves...
