  1. hope is not lost, but it's pretty bleak.. :(

  2. I only applied to one school (clinical psych PhD), but I had good reasons, I think. I interned all summer with my POI, I know I love the research focus, the school is awesome, the area where the school is located is wonderful, and it's my number one choice, hands down. Also, with a fall 09 having to take the GRE, take two courses, start an honors thesis, and work full time, I knew that I wouldn't have the time or the energy to do a full-on grad app season. If I don't get in, I am moving to the area where the school is anyways because I love it so much. So, either way, I win. Of course, I will be much happier if I do get in. Of course. Good luck, fellow one-schoolers!
  3. Oh, thank you! That makes me feel better!!
  4. Hahaha...I would venture a guess at April...first shows should be in June (the boys seem to schedule the tours around their kid's summer vacations) and we need time to buy tickets and lose our minds with anticipation.
  5. I just need someone rational to calm me down...my anxiety is killing me! I interview 2 weeks ago at the only school to which I applied for the clinical psych ph.d program. I have seen on another board that one person has listed an acceptance to the school's clinical program, and on the grad cafe forum I saw that one student has received an offer to the general/experimental program (they interviewed a week after us clinical applicants). No where have I seen that anyone has been waitlisted or rejected. I feel like I had a tremendously good shot at this school and I am consequently tremendously nervous about hearing back... Is the fact that no one appears to be waitlisted or rejected a good sign that they haven't really started letting everyone know? Sorry for this rambling post... eek!
