So I was just on ResearchNet, and the link states that anticipated decision date is March 30... you think we will find out tomorrow?

I totally understand... I've just been doing my best to distract myself from the countdown process. Friends and family are wonderful distractions. That, and binge watching Netflix. I keep wishing I could take a 10-day long sleep.

First time applicant, and last chance to apply... Hoping for a good run! The previous Vanier threads were pretty informative, and I think contacting the individuals from the thread was a good start for me.

Hi everyone! I was desperately searching the internet in hopes of finding some discussion threads about previous Vanier applicants and awardees. Congrats to all those who were successful, I am in awe of your huge accomplishment.
So, I am currently in talks with the department at my institution regarding a potential nomination for the 2016-17 application cycle, and was hoping you would share some of your wisdom with a newbie. (This will be my first application, and unfortunately my last due to my program start date).
