    MH2, i have heard some getting email in May requesting to submit letter of acceptance. the deadline was 3rd may. if no one got the email that time, he/she is no more considered for final selection i think.

    MH2, did u only choose 1 university and submitted their offer letter? then there is possibility that u dont get any notification as u have already submitted the letter of your single chosen university. if you wrote down the names of more than 1 university, then still jjwb can notify for the final time asking u to submit your final offer letter as u may change your mind to study in another university among ur chosen ones.

    the only sad part is i tried so hard and yet not getting it. but never give up. i am happy with what Allah Has given to me. May be He Has kept it for next year or may be never. I have no other way but accept whatever has been kept for me. what i can do is only try and pray. Take Care guys.

    i called yesterday. a lady talked. she said the same old thing. i asked whether they have finished informing all the successful applicants or they are still sending emails. she just said to look at the website as they will post an announcement after completing informing all successful applicants and that will by mid july.

    last week, last hope! really expecting? i am amazed that some of the extremely brilliant guys did not get scholarship yet. what does world bank actually need? @Amalthea, where r u?

    yes. we r frustrated because we waited so long and getting nothing at the end. funny part is that 2 applicants from bangladesh failed to submit offer letter. so they r automatically rejected. and rest 5 submitted unconditional offer letter, some with even half scholarship and we r also rejected now. how funny!

    last year many waited till 31st july in the hope of result, but reality is that most awardees were informed by 2nd july. i dont know what is happening now. is it all done this year!

    any news? shud we call the world bank today (5th july)? because not much time left to close the announcement. what shud we do?

    one of my colleagues called world bank on july 1.they said that they were leaving office early to prepare for weekend.they advised him to call on 5 July.
