Hi there! I'm also deciding between MSFS and MIA at SIPA. I'm leaning toward Gtown, however. From what I've gathered, Georgetown has a little better reputation/is more prestigious? I've heard the degree sets you apart from other job applicants, as you're generally the lone MSFS'er (opposed to the 20th SIPA grad, all vying for the same position). I also like the small class size ...and (personally) it would be cheaper for me to live in DC than in NYC. I'm also not all that interested in the finance/quant component, so my inclination might be a little different than yours. SIPA's emails have been bothering me too, I feel like they are trying too hard with their mass e-blasts. I'm unable to attend either admitted students days, but I'd be curious to hear your reactions to both programs, if you don't mind sharing! Best of luck with your decisions!

It was a congrats email itself, saying that that there was an acceptance package in the mail which I should be receiving in the next week or so.

Agreed - I did not receive funding either. A little worried about it, but still happy to have the offer! Still waiting to hear from Georgetown's MSFS, which will be the deciding factor as to whether I will attend SIPA.

Just heard from SIPA - accepted for MIA! (no funding) Stay patient, there are still acceptances rolling in.

I agree! There has been much discussion on SIPA and SAIS, and nothing on MSFS. Thanks for the tip, thombo. Here's hoping we find out soon!

Ugh, still in SIPA purgatory too (for MIA)... has anyone heard anything yet today??
