This Yale news is preparing me to be very sad... Do any of you guys know about waitlists? I got waitlisted at one of my top choices and the portal says I'll get a letter in the mail for me to respond to if I want to stay on the waitlist, but it's been a week and no letter yet. I'm usually not a very patient person, and this process is really making me realize this even more.

I think I'm in the same boat as @HermioneWannabe - waiting for AP and it's driving me nuts! But visit days in April seem very late.

@Comparativist bummer. I did see that string of acceptances on the results board a while back and figured the chances were dim. From what I've learned in this process, research "fit" with the department seems to be everything.

@jazzmintea ah thanks for that reminder, I've heard that they often do that (a Master's unfortunately wouldn't be ideal for me). Do you know if they are done with their PhD acceptances? I'm thinking that, given that some superstar folks have multiple offers, we might be waiting for second rounds from schools once first round offers have been turned down...

Claiming a UPenn admission (FYI for others, visiting day is March 24 and the email said that there were 300+ applicants for ~10 slots) Also, any intel on whether UChicago is done? I haven't heard anything yet from them and it's making me antsy.

@Bibica oof you're right, I should be more careful with words lol. I'm also waiting for the Gov decision from Harvard...looks like they wait until pretty late to let folks know. And yes, the results board is def not working.

omg I'm so glad I found this forum - those Yale entries on the results board were freaking me out. But I'm still confused what's going on with the notification process. Also, does anyone else here have any experience or have heard anything back from the joint degree program for social policy at Harvard? Hope everyone is hanging in there!
