Stats: GPA 3.96/4, Q153, V165, and AW5.5.
I'm interested in play therapy, trauma focused systems, home visiting, and integrated health care.
My letter said that the scholarship application is going live at the end of the week, so I'm not sure if that means everyone will hear back by Friday? I sure hope so.
Will you let us know when you receive the scholarship link? I was admitted into the 2 year and wait listed for the advanced standing and still haven't recieved the scholarship application. Thanks!

Congrats!! Do you mind sharing your stats? Fingers crossed that you'll get off the wait list for AS!
3.87 undergrad GPA/4.0 social work
research assistanceship and my field is with NASW this year. I had strong references and statement. I didn't do well on my quantitative portion of the GRE.

I was admitted Friday afternoon to the 2 year and wait listed for advanced standing. I'm hoping those that were accepted but have no intent of going decline their offers soon.

Hello! I'm new on here! I applied for the advanced standing MSW program at UNC, ECU and NC State! I know one of my classmates already got an acceptance letter from UNC so I am really nervous because my application still says "submitted"
Was it an actual letter or an update in the admissions portal?

I was told this was how they make their funding decision, so its a mini-fafsa so to speak I tried to be ethical and honest: I have a certain amount saved, plan to work, and then the remainder will be financed. I included grants I was applying to to show I that I am very sincerely in need of aid and have a realistic and mature understanding of how to finance my graduate education. I ventured that unlike the FAFSA where you want your number to be 0, you want to show you are actively looking for aid, leveraging all of your resources, and still have substantial need.
But that was my approach. I might get bitten for it, we'll see.
That's super helpful! Thanks!

I'm applying to UNC and University of Chicago AM & MPP.
Does anyone have any insight on what they are looking for in the funding section of the UC application? I'd like to have the best possible chance of getting funding.
