Absolutely! And here is a quote from my letter regarding the application: " A link for the SSW Scholarship Application for 2017-2018 will be emailed to admitted applicants by the end of the week from the UNC Qualtrics system. The application deadline is Friday, March 31, 2017. Award notifications will be communicated with all admitted students by April 11th"

    Great! Thank you so much!

    Stats: GPA 3.96/4, Q153, V165, and AW5.5.

I'm interested in play therapy, trauma focused systems, home visiting, and integrated health care.

My letter said that the scholarship application is going live at the end of the week, so I'm not sure if that means everyone will hear back by Friday? I sure hope so.

Will you let us know when you receive the scholarship link? I was admitted into the 2 year and wait listed for the advanced standing and still haven't recieved the scholarship application. Thanks!

Hello! I'm new on here! I applied for the advanced standing MSW program at UNC, ECU and NC State! I know one of my classmates already got an acceptance letter from UNC so I am really nervous because my application still says "submitted" :(

Was it an actual letter or an update in the admissions portal?

I was told this was how they make their funding decision, so its a mini-fafsa so to speak I tried to be ethical and honest: I have a certain amount saved, plan to work, and then the remainder will be financed. I included grants I was applying to to show I that I am very sincerely in need of aid and have a realistic and mature understanding of how to finance my graduate education. I ventured that unlike the FAFSA where you want your number to be 0, you want to show you are actively looking for aid, leveraging all of your resources, and still have substantial need.

But that was my approach. I might get bitten for it, we'll see.

    That's super helpful! Thanks!
