The panic is setting in as my first application is due Jan 10th. I asked my professor via email (I am out of the country) if he could write me a LOR. He wrote back saying he'd be happy to and said we should talk first either by phone or in office. I responded saying I would prefer to come in to his office but I am abroad and can we set up an appointment to speak over the phone?
No response, sent another follow up email a week later no response again. Do I just call without an appointment or is that rude??
