[Governors State University Interview]

Hi!

Both my friend and I received an email from GSU last week inviting us for an interview this upcoming Saturday (2/11). I'm sure they are still going through the invite process so I wouldn't worry too much.

Hi guys, I'm just wondering where all of you guys are at in the application process? I'm currently applying and all of my deadlines are January 15th, but my advisor said that I should be proactive and have everything in by December 1st. I'm not sure if this is actually necessary.

I have basically everything done except my personal statement essays (I have about 3 of the 6 total completed). I also have to record a video response to a question for Illinois State. It's currently Thanksgiving break, and I'm trying to get stuff done, but I'm not sure if I'll have everything done to the best of my ability by December 1st. I also don't want to over-work myself over break because this semester has been brutal.

Is there any benefit to turning in applications early? Or can I wait until at least mid-December to have everything turned in? Thanks in advance.
