  1. Anyone has news on the Wellcome Trust Stem Cell Biology program? The interview invitations should follow today according to their office
  2. My application status is still submitted, but the last modification was 22 days ago. I'm sorry to break it, but I believe that all invitations have been sent.. To make sure, nothing better than emailing CSHL and asking. Good luck!
  3. I don't know if you're international, but if that's the case I know Caltech Biology is especially harsh with international applicants. Your other programs are quite amazing though, so I'm sure you'll be happier and appreciate your overall results once the acute pain of rejection starts to fade (I'm starting to heal too, so I feel you).
  4. Hi, this is the Biology thread, there's probably a Sociology topic elsewhere in the website. I'm sure they can be more helpful
  5. Can anybody post the email rejection from Gerstner Sloan Kettering? I have applied through the Fulbright program, and they've told me I would not be invited to interview but that they aren't able to give any further official information regarding acceptance/rejection. Do the emails state anything about rejection or do they just say that one has not been shortlisted to interview?
  6. I believe they'll have 2 interview weekends. The first is Jan 18-22, the second is early Feb, but I'm not sure about the dates.
  7. Man, that sucks, feeling so bad for you. If you want to trade lives with me Jk, you have nothing to lose in being invited to other programs, even if you end up declining their offers. Congrats on your interviews!
  8. Does anybody know if Gerstner Sloan Kettering is done sending invitations? In the past they seem to send both interview invites and rejections in one week. I haven't received any news from them though, and after emailing them I was told "Our offices are still sorting through and discussing applications. You should receive a response by the end of next week.". Is this BS? I'd bet my house I'm doomed, but I rather have you more knowledgeable people crash my hopes for good.

  10. Just got invited to interview at the Watson School of Biological Sciences at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory first (US) invitation, so pretty excited! Anyone else?
  11. Anybody applying to Watson School of Biological Sciences at the CSHL? My application was updated 19h ago, but I'm yet to receive any email
  12. I'm afraid so, also didn't make the cut
  13. Unfortunately, I don't seem to be getting a whole lot of interviews, this question was a little too early and optimistic lol. Nevertheless, thanks for the answers!
  14. Hi guys. I haven't found a thread for this year's Foreign Fulbright Scholars, so I just created one so that we can exchange experiences and clarify our questions. I have applied to a couple of Biomedicine PhD Programmes and have just heard back from one yet. Anyone else in the field? Best of luck!
  15. I guess there's always that possibility, but I hope that's not my case
