Does anybody know if interviews have been sent already for the NIH GPP programs? Specifically Oxford-Cambridge or the Karolinska partnership?

Did these programs send out invitations already? I was wondering how you'd know all of this.
Also, for those that haven't sent out, is it possible to also note roughly when the invitations would be released?
Hey! It's probably different by department, but I have a UNC BBSP interview January 26-28

Does anybody know when Harvard PhD programs through the school of public health start releasing interview invitations, or when interview weekends are in 2017?

Does anyone know about Stanford Biosciences admissions? It's my understanding that it's program-by-program, but I'm seeing a couple people have heard from them. Does anyone have intel on this? Thanks!
I received an invitation on Friday for the home program I applied to. However, as you said, admissions are home program-based and this is clarified in the email as well. Stanford Biosciences has one single umbrella program interview weekend (March 2-4), but decisions for each respective home program have not all necessarily been finalized yet.

Any news from biological sciences?
I'm curious about biological sciences invitations as well. My application status has been "awaiting consideration by department" for the past 2 months, then suddenly on Thursday it changed to "under consideration by department." This makes me a little skeptical that they even processed my Gates-Cambridge application to begin with, if it's true that it is only being looked at now. I didn't have any outstanding forms or anything, and submitted everything well before the October 12 deadline. I do have a dual citizenship and I'm wondering if for some reason I have been filed as an international applicant instead of a US one for Gates, but my entire work and educational history should make my US primary citizenship clear, and I'm pretty sure I had to indicate a "primary" and "secondary" citizenship on the Cambridge app.
Of course I could easily just not have received an interview, which statistically is much more plausible anyway! I'd love to know if any biologists have received interview invitations thus far.

Has anybody found interview date(s) for Harvard School of Public Health PhD programs? i.e. Biological Sciences in Public Health, Population Health Sciences, etc?

I did not receive an email from the faculty alerting me that I had been competitively listed; thus, I was following this thread with great trepidation. Today, while cleaning out my junk box, I happened upon the invitation for the Gates Cambridge interview. In format, it looks quite like the Cambridge acceptance letter, but it was not signaled as high priority email and thus ended up in my email dust-bin. Consider checking your junk-box. The email went out today (December 15th). One of my greatest fears in this process was going until January not knowing anything. While this may or may not mean ANYTHING, for your notification, it's clear that invitations have started to go out and that the Gates Cambridge office is going to be closed for the holidays so invitees are required to solidify interview acceptance by December 19th. This information is regarding the American portion of the Gates Cambridge.
Congratulations on your interview!

Has UNC BBSP started sending out invitations? Microbiology in particular?

I applied for a BBSRC PHD at Cambridge, and for a Gates-Cambridge about a week before the October 12 deadline. My self-service account still says my application is "Awaiting Consideration by Department." Does anyone else applying for a Gates-Cambridge still have this too? I feel like my application should have been viewed by my department by now, whether I am rejected or invited to interview. Is self-service not really an accurate depiction of what's going on in real time?

Same here but for a different institution (Emory). I am in the US. Would love to know what can be covered in 15 short minutes!

I'll start: microbiology and public health, infectious disease drug and drug target discovery through natural product profiling and genomics

Let's distract ourselves from the admissions anxiety and remember why we got here: what are everyone's research interests for grad school?

Hello! I know this was 6 years ago and you're probably even done with your PhD by now, but if you're still there what was the timeline for Georgetown GID admissions? Super eager about that program and dying to know when I might expect to hear back.

Historically from the grad cafe results search it is a bit all over the place but looks like late january/early february so a bit later than most.
Edit: this is for CMU-Pitt comp bio. You didnt specify but i inferred from the rest of the thread being comp bio.
Yes sorry I was in fact referring to comp bio, thanks!

Anyone know when CMU-Pitt starts sending out interview invites?

Hello! I applied for a BBSRC PhD as well as a Gates-Cambridge. Anyone know what the Biological Sciences timeline is like, both for general admissions and for the Gates-Cambridge?
