If someone gets rejected are they allowed to ask what it was that resulted in the decision? Would they answer? I'm thinking no since there's a lot of applications but then they all got read individually and I should think they made some notes on what they thought about each applicant.

I'm going to go with no...it's just not something they have to do, so why take the time. The results should be out any day though, right?

Can't see the rubric that was linked earlier, but a quick google search led me to this:

Is that the same rubric? The only thing that worries me is community service...but I don't see that being relevant unless you see it as proof that the applicant is able to work in groups or something.

Hey there!:) So I haven't heard anything yet...I'm assuming that's normal since we haven't quite hit mid January...crossing my fingers for us!

Hi guys! Just signed up for this thread. I applied to the Korea program a while back and I am psyched!! Anybody else aiming for Korea? I have no experience studying Korean...I hope that won't hurt my chances. I have wanted to go to Korea for years now, but could never afford to. That's why this would be an awesome opportunity:)
