I noticed that some graduate programs in UCLA don't require personal history statement, but some graduate programs at UCLA do require personal history statement. For chemical engineering I was wondering if I needed to also write a personal history statement in addition to SOP. Thanks.

I have 31 semester units in my junior year, but with 3 semester units of "pass" which don't count towards a GPA. Also, I have 4 quarter units of classes from the summer before junior year (which equals 2.7 semester units). Is it okay to include the summer class in my junior year GPA calculation, or do I have to also include the last semester of sophomore year like what some schools request? Thanks!
