[Bioengineering/Biomedical Engineering - Fall 2017 PhD Application Profiles]

Are interviews still possible at this point? I'm not sure even if the universities I've applied to even would do the interview. :/

 

One program I applied to was Columbia, and I contacted the general graduate admissions page two weeks ago and the person replied that he/she doesn't know where my status currently is, but it will generally take "4-6 weeks after the application has been submitted" for a reply...It definitely has been longer than that.

Would it look bad if I contacted the graduate director specific to BME about my application?

Research Experience: 

Shifted to different labs since sophomore year (now on my fourth one), got a local research stipend one year, and worked at a national lab another

Publications/Abstracts/Presentations:

Presented locally and am coauthor in the past in a presentation at a national organization. Grad student at one lab said I'll be on a publication whenever it gets finished writing and published... 

Awards/Honors/Recognitions: 

Dean's list, AEMB member, Tau Beta Pi member, local school scholarship, nothing else really...

Fellowships/Funding:

I applied to the NSF-GRFP....

Pertinent Activities or Jobs: 

I TA-ed once for chem
