I received an email and a few days later I got a physical letter in the mail.

Wow, cool! So you just found out today!! Congrats!! 

I wonder if they have sent out any acceptances recently. It seems like a majority of people on here have heard back within a week or two... I am stressing out  did you apply for full-time or part-time?

I interviewed on April 4th and received my acceptance on April 10th. I asked them when I would be notified by and they said everyone should know their status by the end of May.

They asked general questions like why social work, why aging, etc. and then also asked what I think would be a difficult population to work with and why it would be difficult. After that it was just any questions I had. Overall the interview took like 20 minutes! It was two people interviewing me in a small office, it was pretty laid back and comfortable! I got there a little early and was able to talk to some current students and the chair of the department (David I think?) who all wished me luck so that helped me be less nervous! I'm not really sure what I can say except be yourself!

No, I graduated in 2016 from CSULA with degrees in Sociology and Pan African studies. I blanked out on a word 3 times during my interview. Embarrassing!!!

I don't think it makes a difference if you submit it early. I think I submitted app day of deadline or a couple days before, and I just heard back for an interview. My interview will be in a few weeks. This is my 2nd time applying. I'm crossing my fingers
