    On UNC's website it says the visitation weekend is March 10 and 24. Those are coming up very shortly; is it safe to assume if we didn't hear back then it is a rejection?

    Not orgo, but I'm waiting on UNC for polymer/materials.

    @sk8er determinantNope it still isn't updated. That could just mean a rejection, but hopefully not!

    Can I ask what specific field in chemistry you applied for and your profile? GPA, GRE, etc. I still haven't heard back but I'm very interested in the school.

    Has anyone contacted UNC about the status of their applications?

    Haven't heard back from UPenn, I know they sent out visitation weekend invites; is this bad news if I haven't received an email? Also, does anyone if UNC is still accepting people? I haven't heard back from them as well.
