The program is currently a one year Master's of Public Affairs degree. Courses begin in the summer. with a break for the Global Policy Experience (this year we had the choice to go to Sweden, Cambodia, or South Korea). Classes then continue in the fall and then students work at their respective consultancy positions from January-March. The consultancy can take place in Providence or really anywhere around the world; we currently have students in Europe and India, but also in Washington, DC. We wrap up core courses and electives in April and May and then students are ready to graduate. I am a current student and I've had a fantastic experience with the program! It has been wonderful to have such enthusiastic professors providing challenges in the classroom and a dedicated career counselor guiding me through the program. The program has prepared me with the technical skills and knowledge I need to continue my career, while expanding my network as I look for a new job.
