I also received the msg just now that I will not be receiving any funding.
I can see why some of the members here feel the way they had written, but recall the admissions office's posting way back that as being one of the newer schools, they have a very small pot for financial assistance.
Having observed the periodic blog posts, personal messages on admission letters, etc., I empathize with their challenges having to make decisions from that very small pot knowing that some of the non-receiving students will suffer with loans and what not.
Try not to take it personally. I know there will be a large financial burden added to my family as well, but I still believe that it will be one of the best years of my life and that it will be worthwhile.
