Is anyone else who didn't receive funding for the MS/PhD program in mechanical engineering still planning on attending? I'm wondering how common it is for future PhD students to enroll without initial funding. I still love the idea of going to Stanford but have qualms about taking on debt, though I'm sure it wouldn't be impossible to pay off.
