Usually the university will deposit the funds, just as they would deposit any other graduate funding. I was sent an email saying that I had to: -send an email (to SSHRC) including the 'Request for Instalment' form. In order to complete this form, you have to get your supervisor(s) signatures and a signature from the 'authorized institutional official', which in my case is the 'financial support and scholarship liaison officer'. Oh, and for the funds to be deposited, I had to accept the award through my student account.

Finally got the letter! It's confirmed, I got a CGS with a score of 15.35 (committee 3).

Also probably best to keep full names off the site. And emails. Did anybody who was successful at Western get an email from the scholarship coordinator* yesterday regarding accepting the award? I received an email Friday saying my application was successful. Like everyone else, still waiting on the letter to confirm that this is real. Seems like students are generally skeptical of good news, lol. 

*edit: not sure if this is correct title ?
