I've been thinking of taking a gap year between undergraduate and graduate studies (to pursue a PhD in chemistry). It seems this is pretty popular for bio majors and premeds, but was wondering if other chemistry peeps could share their experiences in how they spent such a gap year to strengthen their applications for grad school?
