I have several friends (international applicants) who did not take the subject test but were admitted to their chosen institutions.

Thanks, i really was worried it would affect my chances. Do you propose any school that i have a good chance to get into ?

I don’t know too much about the schools you are applying to because I am mostly applying on the west coast. However, your credentials look pretty strong IMO (aside from the 2.5 on AW, which probably doesn’t matter too much).

One thing that strikes me as a bit odd is your lack of a subject test score. Did you take it? Aren’t those scores pretty heavily weighted for international students?

Unfortunately, I missed the October reservation of the exam and the next one is on April 2018 which is beyond application timeline.

I had a profile similar to yours. I got accepted in Purdue's PhD program though. Although, my institute's kind of recognized in the US (Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai) which I think does matter a lot. But I would say, go for the big guns too. You might hit the bulls eye.

I think you're unlikely to be admitted to a government affairs program if your application states that you want to get a PhD or MS. Also, because your applications will most likely be sent to PhD and MS programs.

EDIT: I see that you already posted this information in the Chemistry thread. It's not going to help you to spam every thread asking about your admission chances.

i won't state the " or " thing in my application i want to ask wether my chances will be high for MSc or PHD to be able to decide before applying and i posted here because the chemistry thread has small followers to reply effectively
