I'm making a midlife career change to become a clinical or counseling psychologist. My particular interest is in helping those adversely affected by involvement in high-demand, high-control groups (aka "cults"), since coming to realize my earlier career plans were derailed in large measure by the effects of my own experience with a group of this sort in my adolescence.
