Replies from Syracuse (R), Boston C. (R), Fordham (decision next week), and UNM (decision was snail-mailed out on Tuesday).
Thanks for this. Any word on whether UNM is sending out both rejections and acceptances, or just one of the two?

I will be commenting for the first time on a paper at a conference. Any suggestions about preparation or format for commenting? Thanks!

If you're willing to go interdisciplinary (and depending on your specific research project/intellectual trajectory), you might consider Berkeley Rhetoric, Johns Hopkins Humanities, and Chicago's Committee on Social Thought.
And while I'm not a philosopher, I'd also consider retaking the GRE to raise the V score.
Thank you for the feedback. I will look into these programs.

What kind of places are you aiming for? To be competitive at PGR-ranked PhD programs I think you would need to significantly raise your V and Q GRE scores.
At the moment, UCSC (History of Consciousness), Oregon, Duquesne, Villanova, Boston College, The New School, looking for other continental philosophy programs. Thanks for the feedback

If this helps those waiting from UNM, I contacted the DGS and was told that they only could accept two PhD applicants.
It would seem that Continental philosophy had an extremely competitive year, not the least because of the quality of applicants.
