Thanks Natofone. Kent State told me they would make funding decision next week. I cant wait until then. I think I will accept Hawaii. By the way,anyone here has been accepted by Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University?

I was also accepted with funding $ 15, 558. 00 and TW. I am thinking maybe I should attend it if I cant have better news this week. Hope people could share some information about this school.

Anyone decided to go there? Where could we find more information about renting? Will $ 15, 558. 00 US dollar be enough for one year?

Got a funded offer from Hawaii. You guys think its a place to deserve going? Also waiting for funding from KSU of which they told me I was still in the pool. If I also get fund from KSU, which place do you guys think is better? Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks. I am going to refuse offers from LSU and GSU. Hopefully it will help someone in the waitlist.Due to my low GRE in verbal. I have not applied for any high ranking programs. got 4 in 5 programs I applied.

You definitely will help some one out! Not everyone could be accepted by big name schools and I think some of us is waiting for news from unnamed school. I am eagerly waiting for fund from KSU,GSU and LSU.

I have question: I get unfunded offer and some other gets funded offer, If some other turns down their offers, you think I could have chance to get fund? So could school give fund to unfunded students when funded students turn down their offers? Thanks a lot!

To Curufinwe,TheSquirrel,Whistler: Thank you so much for your guys' reply. I am from great program with good GPA but I am really bad at this kind of standard exam. I applied last year for good programs and was all rejected as for my bad GRE.You cant imagine how bad it was. I took GRE again this time but still did not do well. Therefore, I all applied for low -ranking schools this year.Three admissions, two pending,one rejection. well, this rejection was because of unfit for my background. Anyway, I think your advice is wise. I tried to contact some professors and they told me to wait to see if some one rejected their offer. And some told me they had tight fund.I am not positive about getting fund. I am thinking of applying for next year. Do you guys think it will help me a lot if I go to Israel to learn Hebrew as my interest is in Middle East? Of course, I have to work hard on my GRE and TOEFL. Thanks a lot

I got three admissions. one totally told me that it cant give me assistantship and the other two are being made decision. Those are all low ranking schools. I have good background but very very low GRE so I cant apply for good programs. You guys think it is possible that If I send email to professors to ask for some funding? I am a newcomer here. I have a question.well ,maybe a silly question to ask. How could committee decide the assistantship ? Is the GRE the only decisive factor? Why do schools give so many admissions without funding? Cant they think we cant afford the tuition? Yes,silly question but thank you so much for your response.
