can diploma course in health and human resource management from Canada will be of any help in getting admission in MPH in Canada.. I am an internationally trained dentist with 3+ years of experience in my country and have no canadian work experience and simply thinking of ways to make my profile strong for next year.

It says on the website that there is no intake for Fall 2018. Hence you will need to check it in November 2018 or 2019.

I didn’t knew of this course.. thanks for the info.. if I would have known about this then would have applied it in last nov itself as my back up plan..

  3. as I got rejected from all the universities so was curious to know if anyone can suggest me of any other courses which can be helpful for better future prospects.

I am a dentist from India with 3+ years of experience and with my indian degree and experience I failed to find any job here in Canada.

I came across this course https://bowvalleycollege.ca/programs-courses/community-studies/health-and-human-services-management-post-diploma-certificate

it will be great if anyone of you can suggest me the cscopes of such courses or any other course that u can recommend me..

I can see that alot of people want uofs. Can anybody provide me with further insight into what makes uofs a good public health program?

I have been doing research and so far I can see that it has an integrated approach so you get experience with all five core disciplines, its an accredited school of public health, and they have engaged in alot of research. Anything that im missing that makes it good?

Well in my case after rejections from other universities, UoS is the only option left out now.. so waiting for some positive response from  them..

Status changed to under review for U of A today, progress...I wish Canadian schools sent out decisions as early as U.S. schools. Patience is key I guess...

My status for U of A is showing ‘Pre- screeening’ from past soo many days but nothing has changed till now.. let’s see

Hey! I also applied to U of A and SFU. Based on U of A website, applicants will be informed by mid-April.

When I was applying to SFU back in October, the graduate program secretary said in her email, "Admissions are usually completed by March.  At that time, applicants will be notified whether they are admitted, declined or waitlisted."

Based on previous forums, U of A sends out decisions closer to April and SFU starts sending out 1st or 2nd week of March. Hoping there will be no delays this year.

    Good luck to everyone!

  10. Hi All, I am a dentist from India and worked there for 2.5 years. After 7 years of gap, I want to start my career again through MPH programs. This seems a puzzled world for now. All internet information is scattered and it does not give clear direction. My educational assessment gives 3.29 GPA and my IELTS score stands at 7.0 .

I want to know if any of certification programs in public health from the local university, college or online will be helpful towards MPH. If it will be, then can I have a suggestion for that near Calgary area.
