Sorry to revive what might be a totally dead thread--I just took the GRE and am feeling pretty crap but wondering to what extent that reaction is valid. Unofficial verbal score is 165 (95%), quant 147 (27%), writing still unknown. I have a 3.74 undergrad overall GPA, a masters in neuroscience, a PhD in a semi-related area, 4 publications, and 1 year as a postdoc at an Ivy. I would like to apply for clinical PhD programs with particular interest in those strong in developmental neuropsych research. I'm not sure where I should be aiming at this point, or how much bombing that quant changes things. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
