the more i think about it the more foolish it is to give up a great opportunity at UF just to live in a place where i like the local culture and outdoor activities better.

I was accepted to and am now considering UFlorida and New Mexico State social psych programs. I do ev psych research and would have ep focused advisers. Love them both and it is a draw as far as they are concerned... but I would much rather live in New Mexico and they are giving me more money. Is it worth it to go to UF because it is more prestigious? Will it be that much easier to get a job in academia coming from one state school as compared to the next? I am losing my mind deciding!

Me too! I do not want to live in FL at all but everybody in the social program was super nice. It is proving to be an extremely hard decision...are you going to go? Where else did you get in?
