Good morning all, I was wondering if anyone had heard/knows anything about the Institute of World Politics. I applied almost on a whim, as I work in DC and wanted to stay here to go to school. Applied to Georgetown SSP and the IWP, got into both (I think). So far only have email acceptance from GTown, pending decision by Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew any good/bad rankings/stats for the IWP. Failing that, what are some good resources to look into this issue? By random web searching I have been unable to find much, which is somewhat worrisome. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I received the same email as some that my application had been "recommended to the Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences." Anyone know what the percentage chance one doesn't get accepted at this stage? Is this just a cursory review that I shouldn't worry about?
