  1. I suggest you to check your rank in your department and university.
  2. I initiated a grant proposal for CHRP and took the lead to find the co-applicants and writing the proposal. The NOI was successful, and we're waiting for the results of the final application. I featured it in my application. My NSERC proposal also was an interface between engineering and health. I also had enough voluntary work in my application, but still didn't get it!
  3. Who know whether there is an appeal procedure for NSERC PDF?
  4. anyway, as I mentined I don't know how they select people for the award. I have a really good CV compared to other people in my area, but still didn't get it. the whole process is disappoiting anyway!
  5. one very clear criterion to me also is "being a canadian citizenship". NOT a permanent resident. Scholar, if you don't mind are u a citizen or permanent?

  7. you know I really don't understand NSERC (REAL) criteria. Last year they sent my application to the MATH committee, while I'm a student in Industrial Engineering!!

  11. you know, I've heard it depends also on the school. Every school has a percentage of the whole awards given annually. Of course, it is more competitive at good schools.

  25. I've just received this answer from our grad office regarding the results of NSERC PDF. I have to wait till I get the letter We are not dealing with NSERC PDF. No information will send it to the Grad Office.
