Hey guys, I corresponded with the director for graduate studies today, and unfortunately found out that I've been rejected. There were over 600 candidates for 20 to 25 positions, and I considered Cornell a little bit of a reach, so I don't feel too bad. I don't think we can really call them "lazy" when they're working through that many candidates, and I always found that my emails were responded to promptly. Maybe it's how you said it... The director for graduate studies said that she plans on getting the emails out by the end of the week. Keep checking your email, and good luck!
