Hi everybody!
For the ones that applied through the US office, I gave them a call today to ask about the status of my application. I got rejected but encouraged to apply in the next term. Oh well...
I was also told that they will start sending out emails regarding the decisions next week. Good luck!
Hi anfisa,
I am sorry about your rejection!!
did you apply for PhD or master?

No they never mentioned it to me. Also I know a person from Nicaragua that received DAAD last year and he told me that they removed interviews a few years ago for the Central American region. Maybe it could happen if they have too many applications.
ok, uff thank you!

I think that will be for all regions then... i have seen last year people from South America got the result exactly on march 15. I could literally cry, I was really hoping for this week! Cannot wait anymore!
Were you ever told by the central America office that personal interviews will be conducted? I am feeling anxious because I was going through my emails and had been told that that was a possibility back in November

How much money DAAD give to phd scholar per month ?
1000 euros.

I was told that for PhD, the German language was not a requirement because most programs are done in English. I guess it depends on the subject you are going to study
