Welcome to the club, I've been on the waitlist since March 28 and have lost a lot of respect for The University of Toronto. On top of being a month late on their response (they said to expect a response in early month if you applied before the deadline), they choose to waste more of my time by not telling me where you stand on the waitlist. If I'm 5000th on the waitlist and they told me on March 28th, then I could move on and focus on other things, but for all I know I'm 2nd on the list and so I don't know if I should commit to something else or to keep playing this stupid game.

Oh my gosh :(  I agree with you, I have definitely lost some respect as well.

Considering how incredibly fustrating it is to be waitlisted I am still greatful for having some kind of chance.

For whoever gets waitlisted, if you visit this website: https://ro.oise.utoronto.ca/RO_Stats.htm

It tells you the stats the program in the past year has had. They sent out about 800 offers to the MT program, and about 400 accepted their offer. So either they over accept, or there is a still a good chance for the waitlisted people to get in (as they would have 400 more spaces open if they dont over accept-- this also would mean that for example,  if 400 people were on a waitlist, then technically 400 people would be offered admission from this waitlist since at the beginning they offered 800 seats..)

I've tried to look for threads online about people who got waitlisted and who actually got into the MT program in the past but I've had no luck.  Anyone know anyone who have gotten in from the waitlist?

Anyways, I hope this gives us a little more hope. So far on this forum I think there is 3 of us who got waitlisted.

I got waitlisted as well... I'm excited because it isn't a rejection, but I feel like it's bitter sweet. Hopefully people reject their offers so we can get in :( But at least we finally got somewhat of a decision!

Nothing for me either and I applied like first week of November. I'm still wondering if they are doing it alphabetically?

I’m not too sure, my friend found out that she got in March 3 and her last name starts with a P and mine starts with a C :(

I'm so glad I have you guys. I would be going insane if I had to wait by myself. I can't believe it's taking this long. I already know 3 people that got rejected to the program, but that was around the beginning of March (and one around the 20th).

I know I’m so glad! It helps so much. People have received rejection letters!? That gives me a little bit of hope then!

Right, now I guess we have to wait until the weekend is over (at least)..

Have any of you accepted offers anywhere else or just waiting for OISE?

I accepted my York offer while I wait to hear back from OISE!
