Hi all, I applied to some phd programs in Mechanical engineering. I checked the offers and rejections posted on this website. I found some schools like upen, pen state have offers and rejections sent out even on Jan and still have some results came out today. My applications for those schools have no decisions right now. What do this mean? They have not checked my materials yet or I am in waiting list? (For schools like princeton, it is simple that all results come out on the same day.)

Hi all, I applied to several American school's phd program in mechanical engineering. I was wondering if it is enough to just check emails for results. Do all the school give decision result by email? Should check somewhere online too?
